Advantages compared to spindle drive via synchronous shaft:
■ High spindle speed, also at large spindle bores possible, thus
additional support of the shaping by centrifugal force possible
■ extrem machine length are possible
■ very calm, run of the machine with less vibration
■ Besides the real synchronous run there is the possibility of
putting the spindle speed of the right or left working head to
„ZERO“ directly via the mounted motor. This function is effected
via the mechanical laminar clutch at conventional machines.
■ Both spindles are equipped with a mechanical spindle clamping.
This clamping is controlled via the limit switch. This limit switch
automatically puts the setpount of the spindle to Zero, that
besides the real mechanical spindle clamping also the driving
motor helps fixing the spindle.

The machines excel by a sophisticated, modern and sturdy construction, absolute reliability and high precision. Hardened and ground and therefore wearresistant dual round bar guide bed in combination with a throughout machined base. A closed stainless steel cover protects the bed against heat radiation and soiling. Modern components guarantee an axial exactness and a play free running of the machine concepted for use over decades.
The main drive of machine grants even in the lower range of speed an exact control of spindle rotation. It is characterized by a high and steady torque. The right working head can be separated from drive
by clutch. Working spindles have plane flanges on both sides to accept chucks on the outer flanges as well. Power transfer to the working spindles via easily adjustable double roller chains.

Machine series SYPF especially excels by its sophisticated design, modern and solid construction at operational reliability and highest precision. It was designed for processing particular large diameter tubes and it is mainly used in the quartz glass semiconductor industry.

Long tube cutting-off saw
For cutting-off long glass and quartz glass tubes with a diameter of 20 – 550 mm
■ the tubes which have to be cut-off are laid on the roller supports
which are screwed with the machine basic frame
■ the cutting aggregate which is mounted on the back of the
machine is moveable over the complete working area. Thus, a
separating cut can be made on every position.
■ Optionally the machine can be equipped with a tow belt drive,
which rotates the tube while the cutting-off process.
■ While the cutting-off process the swivelling and axial movement
of the cutting aggregate is electromagnetically blocked.
